Exploring Material Direction Through 3D

This project was centred around a single question - how do different material choices shift the feel of a space?
Two kitchen options were explored, each grounded in the same layout but defined by a different island finish. One features a full stone island in Dolce Vita Dolomite, creating a more sculptural and refined presence. The other introduces Polytec Botany Oak, bringing warmth and a softer, more relaxed feel to the space.
By visualising both options in 3D, the contrast becomes clear. Tone, texture, and balance can be assessed side by side, allowing decisions to be made with confidence rather than guesswork.
This same considered approach carries through to the ensuite, where soft neutrals, natural textures, and gentle detailing create a calm and cohesive extension of the home.
A project shaped by material exploration, clarity, and thoughtful decision-making before construction begins.
