Some homes ask for bold statements. Others call for softness.

This one wanted both — but delivered quietly.

This project is built around warm stone, natural timber, and a calm neutral palette, creating spaces that feel grounded, welcoming, and effortlessly connected. Every curve, texture, and line is there to soften daily living and keep things feeling warm without ever becoming busy.

The Kitchen — Calm, Layered, and Light-Filled

The heart of the home sits under two generous skylights, washing the stone island and rangehood in natural daylight. Soft curves shape the island, bar nook, and stone detailing, giving everything a sculpted, handcrafted feel.

Brushed brass, pale cabinetry, and warm timber create a gentle rhythm — a palette that feels both contemporary and timeless.

The Bar — A Warm Little Moment

Set into its own arched nook, the bar brings a subtle sense of occasion. Stone, timber, and warm lighting turn it into a feature without competing with the kitchen. It’s one of those small design moments that makes a home feel special.

The Butler’s — Practical but Beautiful

The butler’s pantry continues the same materials and tones, keeping the whole zone visually seamless. Open shelving and soft detailing keep things functional, but still beautiful to live in day-to-day.

The Lounge — Curves, Texture, and Flow

Beyond the kitchen, the living and dining space brings the palette together with arched built-ins, textured timbers, and natural light. Everything is soft-edged and calm, designed to feel open but never empty.

Why We Loved Working on This Home

This project is all about harmony — materials that speak to each other, shapes that repeat gently through the home, and a palette that feels warm, honest, and thoughtfully refined.

It’s a lovely example of how 3D rendering helps clients see the full story before any decisions are locked in — making it easier to explore colour, mood, layout, and materials with confidence.

Warm, local, and quietly nostalgic - Bannermans Corner brings back the beauty of slow mornings and familiar faces. Designed by Sara-Ann Interior Design, this neighbourhood deli blends timeless textures with rich tones and thoughtful detail.

Every element, from the handcrafted shelving to the soft lighting, was chosen to evoke warmth and welcome. It’s a space that feels personal - where the scent of fresh bread and coffee meets the artistry of local makers and honest materials.

Visualised through 3D rendering to explore finishes and atmosphere before the build began, Bannermans Corner is a reminder that great design starts with intention.

When the view steals the show, the kitchen needs to keep up — and this one absolutely does.

We explored two stunning Polytec timber tones to pair with Talostone’s Super White Dolomite, each creating a totally different mood.

The lighter timber brings a relaxed, coastal calm — perfect for soft daylight and natural textures.

The deeper walnut tone shifts the space into moody sophistication, adding warmth and depth without losing that sleek, contemporary edge.

And honestly… with Sydney Harbour right outside the window, it’s hard to pick a favourite. 3D Render | melodee g miller Stone | Talostone Cabinetry | Polytec
